Open Series

The Open Series are made by blowing three air bubbles into a solid ball of molten glass. Then adding a traditional Italian style colored lip wrap around the opening of each bubble. The piece is then shaped by swinging and spinning the molten glass to reveal the fluidity of molten glass. These sculptures give the feeling that the glass is still moving and alive.
